Yeah, am Dienstag sind dann auch schon meine neuen Bücher angekommen, allerdings war keiner zu Hause, weswegen ich sie erst am Mittwoch abholen konnte.
Ich habe auch direkt ein wenig im Wörterbuch des Teufels von Ambrose Bierce geblättert und direkt was gefunden, was mich sehr angesprochen hat:

Brain: An apparatus with which we think that we think.

Circus: A place where horses, ponies and elephants are permitted to see men, women and children acting the fool.

Reality: The dream of a mad philosopher.

Auch sehr lustig finde ich folgende Definitionen:

Cannibal: A gastronome of the old school who preserves the simple tastes and adhers to the natural diet of the pre-pork period.

Cat: A soft, indestructable automaton provided by nature to be kicked when things go wrong in the domestic circle.

Twice: Once too often.

Year: A period of three hundred and sixty-five disappointments.

Ich glaube, dass das eine spannende Lektüre und Stoff für gute Diskussionen sein wird. 8)
